The Agency
The Agency of Sciences, Technologies and Open Innovation (CITIA Agency) in La Pampa is an entity created by Law No. 3374 to promote scientific research, technological development, knowledge generation and open innovation in the Province of La Pampa.
It seeks to strengthen and increase the productivity, competitiveness, equity and sustainability of the different productive value chains of our Province using science, technology and innovation as key tools for accessing a knowledge-based welfare economy.

Goals
Promote the alignment and integration of science, technology and innovation with society, the productive sector and the government, consolidating a system of Science, Technology and Innovation at the provincial level.
Contribute to the development of a culture of innovation in the Province of La Pampa to generate solutions to local issues.
Foster the development of gender-responsive policies, seen through the lens of the democratization of knowledge, accessibility and production as a contribution to the construction of citizenship.
Promote, manage and administer various sources of funding for the development of science, technology and innovation.
Generate incentives and carry out activities involving Research, Development and innovation (R&D&i) to encourage the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
Promote the knowledge economy and establish relationships of reciprocal cooperation with public and private institutions at both a national and international level.
